Dichroic Glass Bolo Ties

Dichroic glass is collaged and fused together to make unique one of a kind designs. Pieces of glass are stacked in a kiln and fused together at 1500 degrees. After the glass has cooled to room temperature, it is ground and beveled into a polished, refined shape. The glass is wrapped with fine silver bezel and a setting is fabricated in sterling, designed around the shape of the piece. A bolo tie back is soldered on to the piece and it is then fit with a braided leather cord and sterling silver tips. These bolos are available in an arc (shown), rectangle, shield, elongated shield or arrowhead design.
