Dagger Vase

The vase was first created in blown glass, then sandblasted and painted with oils. The lid and pedestal were carved in wax and then cast in bronze, including the dagger, using the lost wax casting method. Patinas were used to color portions of the bronze to connect vase design to the bronze design and complete the piece.
