Confetti Mix – Over 50 different colors of glass frit are mixed together to create a rainbow of spots on either a white, clear transparent or a solid colored background. This design is easy to match with any decor and is one of our most popular. (Shown: Hot Air Balloon-White Confetti) |

Custom Mixes – Select two to five colors. Use (T) colors for transparent mixes, (O) colors for opaque mixes. Or you can combine the two for a unique look. The transparent mix allows natural light to pass through the glass and has a stained glass effect when hung in a window. The opaque mixes are not see-through but show up very well in dark places without natural light. (Shown: Spirit Ball- Ocean Mix) |

Dichroic Strips or Chards – Select an opaque background and we will coordinate dichroic glass pieces to the color you choose. Using the dichroic glass manufactured by Coatings By Sandberg, we mix the patterns and solids as a color enhancement to our work, adding depth and design with the metallic titanium oxides layered on sheet glass. Due to the varied nature of this material, it is difficult to select specific patterns for your pieces but we do our best to color coordinate to the requested color palette. (Shown: Bottle Stopper- Dichroic Strips on Raspberry Pink) |

Metallic Mixes and Spots – Glass colors can be selected from the above list and mixed together with Iris Gold, Gold Brown, Black or Silver Blue to create a shiny metallic mix. For a defined Metallic Spot on top of the color, a solid base color is gathered first and then the metallic frit is layered on top. (Shown: Christmas Ball- Cobalt/Silver Mix) |

Optic Spirals and Stripes –This glass technique is created by laying down a small thread of hot glass onto the surface of the piece, creating a uniform or linear spiral design. The gather of clear or colored glass is added to the surface by spinning the blow pipe around in a corkscrew motion while the hot finger streams off a secondary pipe and lays onto the object in a perfectly symmetrical wrap. (Shown: Cabinet Knobs- assorted colors with optic spirals. Also see Perfume Bottles image for clear spiral wrap example.) |

Ribbed or Fluted – Choose one solid base color from the color list. Each item is blown into a steel star mold where a ribbed impression in the surface of the glass is created. This style is best suited for hot air balloons, pumpkins and orbs. (Shown: Pumpkins- Solid Mandarin Orange) |

Solid Color (Chunk) – A solid chunk of glass color is picked up on the end of the blowpipe, heated, encased in molten clear, and blown out to create a solid sheet of one color. Perfume bottles, ribbed balloons and pumpkins are a good example of this style of color application. (Shown: Perfume Bottles- Gold Ruby, Turquoise, Lime) |

Solid Color (Frit) – A gather of clear glass is rolled into one color of frit. The frit, when adhered to the clear and melted into the surface, leaves thin veins of clear in between the color chips to give it a crackled, spotted look. (Shown: Spirit Ball- Solid Garnet Red) |

Stripes with Frit – Three or four lines of colored glass chips are lined up horizontally on the steel table. The clear glass gathered on the pipe and it is rolled across the table picking up the chips and melting them into the clear. This creates a striped pattern of colors. Red/White/Blue, Turquoise/Cranberry/Purple, Red/Orange/Yellow, are just a few of the more popular combinations. (Shown: Hummer Feeder- Aqua/ Heliotrope/Hyacinth Stripes) |

White Clouds – One solid base color is picked up on the end of a pipe and white color chips are melted into the surface of the color. A layer of clear glass is then gathered over the piece, causing a swirling of the white spots, creating a “cloud-like” effect. (Shown: Perfume Bottles- Moss Green, Violet Purple and Gold Ruby with Clouds) |
